Scalloped Potatoes and Ham - Leftovers at Their Most Luscious

Wednesday December 26, 2007
Scalloped Potatoes PhotoAs a kid I always got very excited when I saw my mom making a baked ham. Whether it was around the holidays, or in the middle of summer, my mouth would be watering thinking about the delicious ham to come. But, it wasn't the baked ham dinner that had my juices flowing; it was knowing what would happen to the leftovers.

Baked ham meant that the next day the left over slices would be made into a delicious scalloped potatoes and ham recipe. This was one of my favorite childhood meals, and I've posted the recipe so you can use up that ham, and enjoy this easy and satisfying dish. This is American comfort food at it's finest.
