Serving roast turkey without stuffing is like making a layer cake without the frosting. Sure, you could do it, but who'd want to? I adore these savory bread dishes so much that I include them in menus other than those that feature a traditional turkey. As humble as stuffing may seem, in my opinion it's really a culinary masterpiece!
