Guacamole and chips are the cornerstone of any great party's snack buffet. This guacamole recipe is very basic and really shows off the avocados fresh, rich flavor.

Ingredients:
- 6 ripe large Hass avocados, halved, pitted
- 4 green onions, light parts only, finely diced
- 1 jalapeno, seeded, finely diced
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- cayenne to taste
Preparation:
Scoop the avocados into a bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and mash with a potato masher or fork as smooth or chunky as you like. Best if chilled for 30 minutes before serving.
