Makes 1 Classic American Pumpkin Pie

Cook Time: 55 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 (9-in) unbaked, prepared pie crust shell
- 1 (15-oz) can pumpkin puree (pure, not pie filling)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 (14-oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground mace
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.Add all the ingredients to a large mixing bowl and whisk together until very smooth. Pour into prepared pie crust. Place in the middle of the preheated oven and bake 15 minutes.
Turn down the temperature to 350 degrees F and bake for another 40 minutes, or until the filling is set. Let cool completely before trying to cut and serve.
