Classic Cocktail Sauce Recipe

There is no reason to buy cocktail sauce when the recipe for making homemade cocktail sauce is so simple. While usually used on cold seafood, cocktail sauce is also delicious on things like crab cakes and fried calamari.

Makes 1 1/2 Cups Cocktail Sauce Recipe

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 0 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup prepared horseradish, or to taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Louisiana hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Preparation:

Stir together all the ingredients thoroughly, and chill for at least an hour to develop the flavors. Serve cold.
