This garlic red pepper oil recipe can be used in so many delicious ways. It's great in salad dressing recipes, marinades, drizzled over fish, or as a dip for fresh vegetables. Garlic red pepper oil is also incredibly simple make - just be careful not to brown the garlic, which will make the oil bitter.

Makes 1 Cup Garlic Red Pepper Oil

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ground paprika

Preparation:

Combine the garlic and oil in a saucepan. Place over the low heat until the garlic starts to gently bubble. Turn off heat, and whisk in the paprika (it's important to use fresh, high-quality paprika).

Let sit for 1 hour, and then strain through a paper coffee filter (or several folds of cheesecloth). Use as needed. Best to store in the refrigerator. Let come to room temperature before using.
