Fresh Tomato Salsa Recipe

What better way to enjoy fresh tomatoes than in a salsa recipe? Take a break from that jarred stuff, and enjoy salsa like it's suppose to taste. This classic tomato salsa recipe is great on everything from a grilled chicken breast to your favorite chips.

Makes 12 Servings of Fresh Tomato Salsa
Ingredients:
  • 4 large ripe tomatoes, diced small
  • 1/2 small sweet onion, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded, minced fine
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • salt to taste
Preparation:
In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well. Best if chilled for an hour before being served. May be made up to eight hours ahead.
