Non-Fat Spicy Yogurt Mint Sauce Recipe

This non-fat spicy yogurt mint sauce recipe is perfect when you want a sauce with big flavor, but without big calories. Mint sauce recipes are very traditional with lamb, and the tanginess of the yogurt makes this mint sauce work especially well.

Makes 6 portions of Non-Fat Spicy Yogurt Mint Sauce

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 00 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup nonfat plain yogurt (Greek-style if available)
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce, or to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh mint
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 clove garlic, crushed and chopped fine
  • salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste

Preparation:

Whisk together all ingredients well. Let sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before using. May be made up to a day in advance.
