Grilled Ginger Citrus Swordfish Recipe

This recipe features mild, meaty grilled swordfish, enhanced with a quick ginger and citrus marinade. This grilled swordfish recipe is perfect when you want something light, but still satisfying.

Makes 4 Grilled Ginger Citrus Swordfish Steaks

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 8 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger root
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro (optional)
  • 4 swordfish steaks (6-oz each)
  • salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste

Preparation:

Mix the orange juice, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, and cilantro in a shallow baking dish. Place in the swordfish steaks, and turn to coat with the marinade. Refrigerate the swordfish for 30 minutes, turn over, and repeat for 30 minutes more.

Remove the swordfish from marinade to a plate, and season with salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste. Grill the swordfish over med-high heat for about 4 minutes per side, or until cooked. Serve immediately.
